This week should of been the start of week 5 for me but not only had a got a bladder infection I now have tonsillitis!!!

I really don't have the energy to run I'm really sick!! How badly is this going to effect my progress??

Should I repeat week 4 again before starting week 5 not sure how long I'm going to be out of action!!

Take it easy and get plenty of rest and get yourself better X

Then when you are ready see how you feel, perhaps do run 1 of wk5 and see how you get on?

Once you have recovered fully you will know how much time you have lost, then you can decide which run to tackle. Why not try one run from W4 and if that goes okay move on to W5.

It's so annoying I'm always ill despite having a healthy diet and exercising my immune system is rubbish!!

It's been a really battle for me to get this far I just hope that being won't ruin my efforts!

But yes maybe doing an extra week 4 run before I go onto 5 might be a good idea!!

Try boosting your gut flora with kefir, which will improve your immune system.

Poor you, that's bad luck! But you never need to be a beginner again as I think the body-mind stores all the learning - maybe start back when you feel ready with walking so you get a feel for how far/fast your energy will take you?

You're not a teacher, by any chance, are you?! I swear both bladder and throat infections are a teacher's curse because we go eight hours at a time without peeing and we're constantly using our voices. Plus there's a half term break coming and I'm always ill with just in time for the holidays...

Glad you're on the mend. Hope you find a way to improve your immune system. I have terrible trouble with both tonsillitis and kidney infections too. I'm going to try IannodaTruffle's suggestion of kefir.
