A great 2nd park run 30 seconds quicker at 34.47 & an inspired hubby who came out too! Having done his in 28.03 he ran the last 100m with me to keep me going just before the heavens opened - Smug mode engaged! I still find running with others a bit scary but just plod away & think a lot about why I started running - get fitter & deal with the grief of losing my Mum to dementia.
I found a link on the Parkrun website for a challenge to run 100k over the summer in aid of Alzheimer's Research & have just signed up. This is a fantastic idea & just what I need as a new graduate to keep me focused on my running. I hope that one day I might manage a 10k for AR but am not at that stage yet but I reckon I can do about 15km a week over several months - with grim determination!
If you are looking for something to keep you going, please do consider the challenge. 😊

Thanks Irishprincess . Sorry to hear you have personal experience of this too. The sooner a cure or even better preventative drugs are found the better!
