A bit of advice please. I got cramp in my left calf on my final run yesterday, managed to run through the pain, should I have done this? Calf was tight all day but seems ok today

If the pain is sudden and acute, like a sharp spike being shoved up the back of your calf, then stop! If it's dull ache then it's fatigue, I,would think

Be sure to warm up, e.g. The warm up,walk, briskly. You can do five minutes before that if needs be. Some folks are slower to warm up, me included

Also, be sure to run only very slowly. C25k is not a race 🙂

Good luck 🙂

Thanks. It was a dull ache. Always do 5 minute warm up walk and run at a slow pace 🙂

Good 🙂

If you have not been exercising then your body will tell you it's feeling it and protest

As you progress steadily through the sessions you will lose the niggles. If you read through the posts you will see that it happens to nearly everyone

Slow jogs are key to,it. Going steady means you get to the end with no trouble
