Time to try again?

Did the whole thing. Kept going for about 18 months. Never really felt the reported high, never managed more than 5 k. About a year ago it petered off and stopped (partly due to chronic pain, which was not caused by running but did feel worse during). Now thinking of starting over but not motivated enough. Any ideas?

OK... what's making you think of doing it again...? That might be the key.

But you know what we say about motivation - you put your stuff on, you get out there and the motivation catches up with you.

I would say just do it, schedule it in, take it slowly, don't miss any runs and keep it at. You've posted here so clearly there must be a reason why you want to ??

Hmm. Motivation. Let's start from mine. I want to remain fit. I am envious when l see people running. l don't want to be like them but at least train to be able to run. If you wrote here, means you are thinking of it. Just go for it. Let us know how it's going. 👍
