Well I never...

Thought I'd ever run for 5 mins let alone 30....and actually enjoy it!!

Amazing to think when I started I thought I'd have to knock on a neighbours door and ask them to call a paramedic as I couldn't breathe!

I've been following the programme and I completed W9 run 1 last night. Admittedly my legs felt like concrete bollards for the first 4 or 5 mins but once I find a rhythm I'm ok. When Laura said the 30 mins was up I still had more left in the tank so I am hopeful about picking up the speed in order to crack 5k in 30 mins.

I have lost about a stone in weight since starting (3 more to go) and feel energised so am eternally grateful to Laura.

Im a very happy and hopeful 50 year old now!

Well done you!!! It's amazing! Are you eating differently to lose weight or did you find it shifted as you did more running? ... signed... a hopeful week 6er 😬

Thank you 🙂 Yes, I have overhauled my eating habits - sticking to around 1450 calories per day and increased my water intake. I am using a free app to monitor what I'm eating which really helps. I haven't measured myself but the difference in shape is really noticeable. Well done you for getting to week 6 too - it really is worth it 👍🏼

How fabulous! Keep on running!

Oh yes, I am very steady and slow! I read the forums every day and see how supportive everyone is so thank you 🙂

That is my next run and I am nervous about it, so its good to hear that the marvellous Laura (my new girl crush) is pulling you through!

Very well done you :)

The jump from 28 to 30 mins is barely noticeable so you'll be fine 👍🏼

I do find myself occasionally saying thank you out loud to Laura- luckily no one is around 😂

Wow, well done! I have just finished Wk 9 r2 so we are around the same place. I still can't quite believe it.
