OMG!! My calves have grown!

Today I thought I'd see how I looked in a pair of skinny cropped jeans. Well the waist bit wasn't a problem but getting them over my calves was a right mare! When I eventually got them on, I looked in the mirror behind me and my calves looked like Popeye's arms jammed into them and they were bulging through the material!!!! It was a right struggle getting them off but I was standing there silently laughing my head off! On the plus side, ran W6R3 yesterday and 25 mins non-stop!

Do you do a lot of leg work at the gym?

No I don't go to the gym. Not sure if it's just that they have grown or because I've never properly looked at them before!!!

Well, get used to it. Now you're a runner everyone will be ogling your legs. Its an occupational hazard.

I still have most problems at the waist-area but yes, calves seem to become noticeable.

Stretchy denims and materials will be your friend!

I loved seeing and feeling the difference in my legs - who knew I even had muscles!! 🏃😂

Congratulations.

But you need to stretch more. If your calves are bulking, that is great but you want it distributed along your leg, not in a tight knot. Stretch daily.

Isn't it odd how everyone's body is different?! I've now been running fairly consistently for 3 years and can't see any change in my legs at all. Still not muscly, still flabby thighs. Bum moderately higher though, and back boobs a thing of the past!
