I'm in moderate shape and am wondering what are reasonable goals for running per week.

This forum is for the Couch to 5K program that sees people get into the habit of running 3 times per week, with the goal of getting to 30 minutes or 5K each run.

That's a tricky question... you could ask.. how many miles do you want to run each week?? Some people are more than happy to do a 5k once a week, some much much more and some less.

The C25K program should get you to running about 5k and then its up to you. If you have the time and commitment you can carry onto longer distances or perhaps focus on running shorter distances quicker or running up and down hills!!... there are so many options and that's why we love it!!

As Dunder says :)

As Dender says, the goal is to complete the weekly challenges Laura sets you on the C25K at a pace that is slow, steady and comfortable for you. And if one week you don't quite meet that goal it's not a problem you can repeat the run or the week until you can continue onwards. Good luck and happy running x

Every other day. Or have two days between runs if needs be. You'll find out what suits you once you start. You've come to the right place by the way
