First Parkrun yesterday

Well, it's taken a few weeks to get from 30 mins to the 40 mins necessary for me to run a full 5k. But yesterday was The Day and I have to say the Parkrun route was considerably busier than my usual route. My husband buddied me, offering encouragement & steering me out of the way of faster runners including a yummy mummy pushing a double buggy. The email from Parkrun was positive - apparently I was 11th in my age group:-))

Looking forward to the next one

Well done! We have quite a number of buggy-pushing runners at our parkrun. Some of them go like the wind ;).

Glad you managed it, it's a special feeling, isn't it? Now to work on keeping that fitness up ;) .
