I was pretty trepidatious about this run. I did C25K last year and by the end of the 20 mins was hyperventilating and had to be talked down by my other half.
So it was sort of an odd decision to do the run today when I've got a cold and was seriously struggling to breathe just sitting on the couch. I figured if I found it too problematic I could always stop and wait for the cold to go away. But it went amazingly! My nose cleared spontaneously almost as soon as I started running, I made sure to take it slow and steady and after 5 minutes I was pretty sure I'd be fine. By the end of the 20 minutes, rather than feeling half dead I actually sped up and finished faster than I'd started with a huge grin.
I'm hoping this bodes well for Week 6.

Thank you! I've seen a lot of people finding that Week 6 was harder than they expected after Week 5. The first time round I felt like literally nothing could be harder than the 20 minute run, so didn't struggle with the Week 6 intervals, but it might be a bit different after the 20 minutes run went so well!
