Time of day.

Just curious as to when you all like to run? I prefer early in the morning when it's quiet outside and the sun is rising. Just me and the clean fresh air. Sets me up for the day.

Late evening for me, at least when we have the lighter nights.

I might try it in the evening. Do like the morning though, I listen to my Stone Roses album and go!

I'm definitely an early morning runner aswell. But that might be due to time constraints as I'm not normally a morning person. But if I leave it till after work I'm too tired. And an early morning run does set you up for the day - I can be smug all day!

I'm often out on a Sunday Evening, which is usually very quiet and has the advantage that I tend to be able to get across roads easily without problems! The other week though I went out early as I knew I wouldn't get out late, and it was a lovely run in the sun... in the winter I've found evening easier overall, I think if you wake up, it's dark, cold, lashing it down with rain you feel more like going back to sleep.... or is that just me! Now it's getting lighter I might try and get out before breakfast a bit more often!

I'm fairly flexible but tend to go mid-morning more often than not.

The timing, length and frequency of my runs varies, depending upon the day, time available and season.

Since I consider the winter months as off-season, I venture out just once a week, preferring to focus upon resistance training and HIIT cardio in the gym.

Now that BST has returned, for the next 6 months, my running frequency will increase to 3-4 occasions during the week, while visits to the gym reduce to twice weekly.

During summer months, if I'm around to take advantage, I enjoy heading out of the door shortly after a thunder storm, experiencing the cooler, cleaner air and running beneath clear blue sky and sunshine that usually proceeds such an occurrence. The sight of steam rising from warm tarmac simply completes the run.

Any time of day is good here. I have the sea to run alongside most of the way and a nature reserve lagoon on the other. Gorgeous and never the same twice. I'm very lucky.

I work away all over the country, I ran along the Solent one week, along a Scottish Loch last week and the Bristol Channel this week. It's hard not to be inspired, I'm a very lucky man!

As I'm not working at the moment I prefer to go late morning. No doubt that will change as I progress and when I get back to working. I like summer evening walks, so maybe I'll try running then.

I like early mornings when I run alone, on an empty stomach. It sets me up for the day. But I also like an early evening run with a friend. It gets me off the sofa and we always have a good natter as we go. Not sure how I would feel about running alone at that time, so solo early mornings before too many people are around are my favourites.

You are indeed a lucky man to get to see all the beauties of this land :) .

I mix it up tbh. I got up 0630 saturday and had gorgeous run and still had the whole day to play with so that was good bit during the week I am now going evenings now they are lighter.
