Yes, I seem to have an established pattern now where Sunday is my 'long' run (ha!), Tuesday is intervals, and Thursday doesn't quite happen. ππ
So despite my legs feeling rather tired still from Sunday's exertions, off I went after work. Fortunately the rain came and went while I was getting ready to go out, so it was quite pleasant after all.
All in all it was quite uneventful. Cedric tried to persuade me I couldn't do this, so I let him have a 10-20s walk while RunKeeper gave me my 15 min update which was conveniently at the end of a quick interval. I figure that's more than compensated by the fact that the RunKeeper updates regularly mean I get the extra time on the quick runs too!
The last minute was good though - really pushed it as hard as I could. Flying, I was! π

Flying - sounds good to me, well done for getting out there in the rain (I don't mind a bit of drizzle but winter seems to have returned here so sleet, snow and windy - brr!).
I was lucky (for once!) that the rain had gone before I went out. Fortunately we haven't had the sleety, really cold stuff here! I do feel for those who have, though. Just when we thought spring was really here... :-\
Definitely the huge smile (or perhaps a grimace...!) And, best of all, I feel good today! My knee is holding up well, and has stopped twinging painfully whenever I walk anywhere - I think due to me switching to wearing only flat shoes. (Sob, all those lovely heels which I just can't wear any more. The sacrifices we make for our sport! )
I know.. I had to give mine, mostly unworn to Little Mum.... I had some glorious red ones!!!! Now If I wear heels they are the lower chunky ones.. a bit. Theresa May-ish. Aghhhhhhhhh!!!
We do make the sacrifices willingly though, and on the plus side, I am now a neat Size 10 in jeans Gotta love this running
Size 10. Oh how I wish!!! But how I enjoy my increased fitness - being able to run for the bus, or back from a friend's house across the road, just because...!
