Well my calf muscle went after only 1k😞😞 I thought it would be ok as I only had a niggle this morning but I should have known better! A bit of a disappointment but never mind. (I've posted the pic anyway!) Hope everyone else did well in their races today xx

Ah, that is a bit of a bummer - no real harm done though.

Rest up now and give it as much time as it needs. I recall, you said you had another race in June. Come what may, you have plenty of time to prepare for that.

I hope so! Will need to give it longer to heal this time.

Ahh well done you....despite the sore calf, πŸ‘

Rest good and proper....take care of yourself and you'll be back to form in no time πŸ€—

Sorry your calf played up, but you obviously made it round as you are wearing your bling! Big well done and now you can rest up well before preparing for the next one!πŸ™‚

I did make it but unfortunately had to walk most of the way. Not great πŸ˜•

Thanks poppy. Yes a bit disappointing but I'm just hoping I can get it sorted before the 10k in June - really keen to start training for that xx

Aww, that's a shame, but you got round, and you got your medal, and you're smiling! Did you enjoy it anyway?

It wasn't the best to be honest. I had to limp around most of the course so was fairly fed up! Anyway going to see physio today so that I can get back to running ASAP! Did you manage your race without any more injuries? Xx

Yes, I've started doing run/walk, it seems to be easier on my heel.
