I was still feeling disappointed by my second-ever Parkrun yesterday so I decided to go out and run for the hell of it - no targets, just run until I'd had enough. Once I'd climbed the rise (into the wind just to add to the fun) the second km was a bit too quick (30 seconds under my current pace) but who cares? The third was a bit of a slog and I had to drop to a walk a couple of times in the fourth before deciding that was enough and switching to a warm-down walk. Feeling much better now, especially when I look back to W1R1
