Found it tough towards the end of the session which worried me a bit but reading posts in here has filled me with a little more confidence. Also joined a running group tackling the c25k so hopefully the support will be good. The reason for doing this is to build up some strength. I'm not overweight but I don't feel fit. Plus I'm hoping it will give me some more energy.
C25k started today!: Found it tough towards the... - Couch to 5K
C25k started today!
Good stuff. All the best.
Brilliant.. and welcome.
This is a great forum to be on and we will support you all the way. Follow the programme carefully, take your rest days and if you are in a group, be sure to do it in your own time.
Slow and steady is the mantra on here; listen to your body and do not be tempted to push yourself too hard...
It is a journey, not a race.. and it is YOUR journey!
Keep posting!
Running is great and C25k is a fab way to start. Stick to the programme while eating a healthy diet and you'll feel better.
You started, so officially the hardest part is out the way! Don't focus on the fact that you struggled, focus on the fact that you did it! Sounds like some people do the first week a few extra times if they need to feel comfortable with it before moving on. And anyway, if it was easy we'd all marathon runners! Sounds like you did great to me
Well done for starting! I started last week and I don't think I would have kept going if it weren't for the lovely people on this forum. Keep going!
