Going for 25 minutes today (I hope)

So I had to skip my Friday run as I just felt awful. As it turns out i had a sinus infection so at least I know the cause now. I havent been out since wednesday so just need to see how today goes, feels a bit daunting right now but no more big time jumps although im seriously considering a flat course today, although that feels a bit like wimping out after doing the hills for the past 6 weeks. Ill see how i feel once im out the door

Nothing wrong in giving yourself the treat of a flat route occasionally, specially when you are getting back to running! Good luck!

Well done. As said nothing wrong with giving yourself an easier flat start. When you get out you might find that everything is OK and you can then build on todays run.

I had to take 2 weeks break after moving home and just tried to get back to consolidating where I l left off. Through necessity now have to go up and down hill and now conquered it (made it sound like Everest it's only 500 metres).

Happy running !

Flat is good, just to give yourself the confidence boost that you can do this! Once you've conquered it, then by all means add the bumpy bits back in! ;)

Happy running! :)

Thanks guys. I did most of my usual route, but i turned in one street early around 10 minutes which keeps things flatter at that point rather than going further down and having further to come back up if that makes sense. Its always that one i find toughest so skipping it did the trick. First 25 minutes down :D

Great! That hill will save until you are ready for it! Enjoy👍🏼

Well done for completing it! Completing C25k on hills is hardcore! Sounds like you deserved a little break from it. So close to that 30 minutes now.

I'm about to start W8 and I wouldn't dream of tackling hills. Why make it harder than you need to? If you enjoy hills all well and good but it's not like it doesn't count if you're on the flat.
