Hats off (and then hats quickly back on before head freezes) to all of you who currently doing the C25k plan. God bless you.
On the bright side, finishing the plan for some of you at the earlier stage will coincide with spring being in sight. You are totally going to LOVE that - stronger legs and nicer weather and longer days all coinciding. Sweet.
Meantime I made this to cheer you up!

It is tough to feel motivated to get out and run in winter. This time last year I was doing the C25K and the hardest days were when it was icy underfoot because it just wasn't safe to run then and when it snowed. Can't say that running in snow is unadulterated pleasure but I still felt good after each run and that coupled with the sense of achievement gets you through the programme. Definitely try and perservere with it if you're doing the programme now. I'm really glad I got into running. It is given me a lot of pressure - and strong legs!
