Week 4, Run 3 and I've pulled a muscle...

Okay, so technically I wasn't actually doing W4, R3 but was running with a local group on a beginners run when it happened. But it amounts to the same thing, so I'm kicking myself right now - or would be if I could.

Oh dear! It does happen I'm afraid. Hopefully it's not too bad and you will soon be back out there after a rest. Get making ice!!!!!! Ice pack applications really help

I am well and truly iced. Pretty sure my dog thinks I've lost the plot: I keep going to the freezer and not getting out any doggy treats for her!

I used Tiger Balm when I recently pulled a muscle, it smells dreadfully but really cools your muscle down.
