I did W6 R1 a couple of hours ago and it was good. My legs ached a bit as I did W5 R3 yesterday but my breathing was fine and my recovery good. Its great running in the daylight, made better by the fact that it was raining heavily. I've dropped another couple of pounds, 32 in total. 180 days to my target.
Omg well done with weight loss I'm down to last 8lbs and its up and down past weeks, this week I feel lighter so it will be interesting to see how the scales react on Wednesday . This running keeps me in a better frame of mind to keep going and eat a lot better ... I had half a cream bun last night wedding anniversary treat, didn't even open presecco gona do that when I graduate , hmmm maybe after parkrun next week
Well done with your running and weight. I found last few lbs came off slow and I'm still going up and down by 1 or 2 lb around my BMI.
But I'm happy with my weight now even if I don't become "normal". some say anyway that exercise will add some muscle to replace that weight and that BMI is a good guide and perhaps not right for everyone.
I say my extra weight is all muscle ! so I can get away with it. If the weight does come of fine but I'm happy with my weight and fitness and well being.
By the way I celebrated with a magnum (Ice cream) on graduation in the summer. Perhaps you can go mad and also have half a cream bun !
Well done ! Especially in the rain. Luckily my run is due tomorrow and should be dry. good weight loss too. My most rapid loss was during my 9 week C25K about 10lbs. Am only at about 2lbs off what BMI stats consider normal for me now.
Finally got to a point where running is now a good habit and happy with weight and health and well being.
Main thing is you sound happy and bet you've got a big cheesy grin !
