Got out this morning a bit later than my preferred start time but completed run 2. Lots of people out this morning walking dogs and other runners. However I much prefer to run without an audience so must make sure I get out earlier next time.
What is the best way of putting something on my phone so I know the distance I have run? Bit confused! (Doesn't take much these days though)

Well done on your run this morning, it was a lovely day for it.
I use the Strava app which can show your pace at numerous points and per mile/kilometre. It maps your route and if you run it several times it will compare those times to see which is best as well as the distance run.
Others on here use Map My Run app but I have never used it so can't comment on it.
I use Strava for my cycling but investigated Map my run tonight and found that you can set out a route & it will tell you the distance which I think is quite useful. Not sure how it works when running though.
I use map my run, does everything i need, lets me know how far, how quick, builds a log , runs in the background so you can also use Laura pod or your own music alongside etc, and is a free app😀👍🏼
