Not that I'm quite there yet, but there's no way I'm going to quit now, but can someone point me to the follow on podcasts that I've seen referenced within various posts?

I've downloaded (but not yet tried!) Bridge to 10k and the NHS 5k+ podcasts too.

Hope they work as well for me as this C25K has done, so far!

To "RACER" Levels !!

Have not yet found any references to these other "Follow up" programs.

As for my Trainer Experience, ONCE you GRADUATE:

then it is time to INCREASE the RATES you can run

towards "Racer" levels !!

**Could you even Imagines this, a year ago ??**

Use the SAME program,

WITH "Run" Changed to "SPRINT",

and

"Walk" Changed to "RUN" !!

Each "RUN" day,

you will do a light warm-up "Run";

do the program with "Sprints"

followed by a "Run" !!

NOTE:

as per the program, the first time,

You do NOT need a minimum "Speed" or "Distance" !!

Hi there - I did the C25K+ in the last few weeks when I was preparing for a 10K race in June.

Since then I have gone back to the start with the ZenLabs "Couch to 10K" programme. I have just finished Week 5. This time round, though, as Dirk says, I have concentrated on doing the whole thing faster - brisk jogging/running rather than the "C25K" snail's pace. This has worked for me - as I know what is coming this time.

ZenLabs (zenlabsfitness.com) is good, but their instruction is pretty minimal. Instead of lovely Laura cheering you on, you just have a neutral American voice telling you "begin running now", "begin your cool-down now", etc. On the other hand, you can play your own music as you run, and the instructions will just cut in as necessary.

Have not YET been able to download the podcasts

onto any of my running "devices" !!

Instead, have to take notes from the podcast

and use my OWN Timers.

Another Difference:

IF I wish for music, I can choose my OWN music !!
