The two oldies Peanut is joining

These are the two aging labs Peanut is joining in our crazy family. They are still young enough to enjoy a paddle - last week in our hols. I just didn't want to leave them out of today's update. 😀

Gave me a bit of a guilt pang. We kind of had a rather literal holiDAY this year and left G with my parents because dogs are banned at all the beaches we wanted to visit. We live a long, long way from the sea and despite being a Welsh Springer she's not that keen on the sea itself (despite being obsessed with deep puddles normally) but she does love a beach.

That's why we love going away in our caravan so much because the dogs love it too. The site we've just been to is perfect for dogs as it is set in woodland with miles of good walking from the site too. Sadly these two cannot manage long walks any more - lots of short ones keeps them happy and exercised though.

I love to see dogs in the water, the sheer joy of it and seeing them enjoying themselves, aw it just warms your cockles doesn't it ?
