Hi all. I have been very nervous about doing week 3 and have repeated week 2 twice now. Well tomorrow I am going to go for it. I hope I can do it. But, does anyone have any idea of the distance covered in week 3? I'm trying to work out my route. Thanks all and looking forward to chatting with you all

Week 3 newbie
Hi there! Welcome and well done on your progress so far. I'm not sure on the distance, it depends on the pace you're going at. I run around a 2 mile park, and I think that just about did me on week 3, but I run very slowly. 😊
Hi loisamelia. Ive checked my log on Map my Run , week 3 I was covering 3k, which includes my start and finish walks. I'm not a fast runner though. In week 5 I suddenly realised if I ran until half way through each podcast, then turned round and came back same route, I would be back home perfectly! Yes, i can be slow in several ways he he he😂
Go for it. You can just put in some extra loops or go back on yourself. That's what I do when I get the route wrong. I reward myself by saying that before the programme I couldn't have run this once never mind twice!
Thanks guys, sorry I've not popped back on for a couple of days. I did the run, not quite the route I planned. It ended up being a bit shorter than my week 2 run circuit weirdly! I think that's because I paced myself a lot more as I was worried about the longer running time. I made a big mistake in that the first of the 3 minute runs was on an uphill and that was just way too much in all honesty. I think I'll try a different route on Monday, a bit flatter as the combo of the longer run and going uphill was too hard. I felt really pleased I finally moved on to week 3 though and looking forward to the next run of the 3.
