My lovely husband gave me a present...

Just in time for the first run of week 7 he produced a lovely new pair or running shoes. He said he my old one were looking a bit tatty. I'd been coveting the new ones on the Nike website and was going to treat myself after graduation. They're lovely and bouncy and really comfortable. Only problem is they're so bright they dazzle me! Now he's saying the rest of me is looking a bit tatty so I sense some new running tops on the horizon too :-)

The run went well but it was so hot! I've been drinking water since I got back and still have a dehydration headache. Hope it cools down a bit for r2 on Thursday.

He is, I've just managed to get him to wear a step counter, so maybe c25k at some point in the future, though he will never admit to being interested!

Ooh lovely new Nikes. Swoon ☺

Are they Pegasus, Vomero? ? I did 500 k in my Pegasus'. They were still in great nick, apart from they'd lost their oomph but fine for walking up and down, dog walks etc ☺

Have fun in them ☺ I noticed that Mo Farrah was sporting Nikes of the very same hue, so you're in illustrious company 😊

Yes, Nike Pegasus Zoom 33, though I wasn't doing much zooming today!

Ooh I'm v envious!! Haven't quite got as far as new trainers yet but love the sound of 'bouncy'. Which Nikes are they? Love the dazzle - nothing wrong with runners bling lol 😄

Wear sunglasses!😀 For the headache also try relaxing your shoulders a tad when running, don't hunch up😊

Must try the shoulder trick. I'll give it a go at the same time I'm breathing :-)

He cooks for me too :-) Definitely a keeper, though to be fair I doubt the pair of us would ever find anyone else to put up with us!

So far so good. Though today was a bit of a struggle. The muggy weather made it hard work this morning, though I did go 130 meters further than I did on Tuesday.
