I am not covering 5km. Today I got as far as 3.3km on the treadmill. I'm pleased with this as its my longest distance to date. But can I only graduate once I have achieved the 5km?

You can surely. Although the programme is called couch to 5k, its aim is to get you running for 30mins.

Not many people to achieve the 5k in 30mins. So do not worry about this at all. Finish the program get your graduation badge and be proud and keep running.

There is a pinned post on the right about requirements for graduation. It's very clear that completing the programme and running for 30 mins on three occasions is fine. I think very few folk actually run 5k on graduation though some amazingly do!! I wasn't even at 4K when I graduated last Monday, now getting to 4K running 33 minutes in my 'week 10' but a long way to 5k. So just keep going. You are only an hour's running from graduation!!!!

The others are correct - a rather misleading name for the programme really(!) but 'Couch to Running for 30 minutes' doesn't have quite the same ring does it?! So, you will be able to wear that badge with pride very soon!😀
