It's you Pinky!!!!!! You are an inspiration. It is easy to underestimate what influence we all have on those around us, even if we don't push the idea of running .
Keep running, keep smiling.
Brilliant! My two boys (12 and 15) are at Weeks 6 and 7 and I am so proud as they are not generally 'sporty'. Both have now got to the stage where they are actually believing they can run! I also like to think/hope that I have inspired them a bit!βΊ Good luck to your son!
I'm sure you've inspired him. Great news! Am loving watching the running at the Olympics though. Wish I could run a 10k at something approaching the speed those athletes manage but that would be my all out 100m sprint pace, if anything!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Thud! That's you hitting the floor. Ha ha
So, when you going out together then? If that's the scenario
Right, we're back from a trip to SD where we purchased some running shoes (had to make it clear to him we don't refer to them as trainers π) and some running socks.
He's already excited about going out tomorrow. I've given him all sorts of tips and advice - can't wait to see how he gets on! He's never been sporty at all, so this is a real biggie for us.
I'd love to think we'll be off to Parkrun together, but he's moving to Manchester for uni, so the opportunity won't be there really. But one day.. Maybe.. Hopefully..
Exciting times ahead βΊππππ¨
