I'm a very happy bunny as I ran for a full 30 minutes today and I never ever EVER thought I'd be able to do that... I was only supposed to do 25 mins though (W6,R3) so I'm not sure what to do now... Do I go back to w7 r1 or do I just keep going at 30 mins?? A nice question to need to ask but a question never the less... Thanks all!

I would go back and carry on with the programme. We're all newbies and our bodies aren't used to running properly yet. We need to build up slowly to avoid injury and that's what the programme does. The last 10 non-stop runs are there to build up stamina, muscle etc. But you know you can do it - and that's a great feeling! Well done!
Well done! But yes, I agree, it can be problematic to increase too quickly so I would suggest you go back to the programme and finish your last couple of weeks. You know you can do it now though so the last few runs will fly past
Well done. -it's all about consolidation for a while. Whether that is running for 25 minutes or 30 minutes is really up to you, but I wouldn't push it any further for a while.
Thanks very much for your replies all. I have carried on with the plan and have just started week 8. Did my first run outside this week too. I have been on a treadmill so far so it was really good to get out in the countryside knowing that I could do at least 20 mins!
Looking forward to graduation but I'm also enjoying each stage of the journey x
