W8R3 this morning still can't believe it. Finding it hard but my will power (didn't know I had any before this lol) kicked in and got me though. I didn't think it was possible for a person to sweat so muchπ±. And what is it with headwinds seems what ever way I went it was there π. Any way week 9 bring it on ππ»ππ»
Week 8 done π: W8R3 this morning still can't... - Couch to 5K
Week 8 done π
Bring it on indeed - well done.
If you are finding it too physically exhausting then slow it down, and then slow it down again :-). You can't really go too slow. If you have anything left at the end then by all means run flat out. A few of us do that as habit now.
The way I understand it is that this period is about teaching your body how to run and establish a habit of running 3 or 4 times a week. Once you have a few months of that under your belt you can then get into speed and strength drills like intervals, HIIT, hill climbs etc. But for now, it is all about slow and steady and sustainable running.
Anyways, you rocked week 8, you will rock week 9 and welcome to the running club Gary :-).
Ah - two laws more laws of running
- you will sweat more than you ever imagined
- whichever way you run, there is a headwind
Well done - on the last lap now!
Well done garym, only 3 runs to go. The finishing line is in sight.βΊ Believe me it's possible to sweat that much!!!. Good luck with wk9.π΅
The wind is ALWAYS in your face... it knows!!
Well done you.. so close now!
A big well done to you. The end is nigh....... and isn't it just brilliant?
