Don't panic, but also think carefully about trying to do the run again tomorrow. It might take you a couple of days to recover and it is recommended that new runners should always take a days rest between runs.

There is no shame in repeating a run...........you are just working through a programme, not trying to finish a race. Next time try to slow your pace and keep positive. You will do it.

No worries. Completing the programme isn't a race and there is plenty of time. What, specifically, did you find hard? Was it your legs or were you out of breath or something else? Many people find this particular run difficult because it's scary to think you need to run continuously for 20 minutes. So it's as much a mental challenge as physical so perhaps the gremlins got to you?

If you tried this run today then perhaps you should take a day's rest tomorrow and try again on Monday.

Go slower. I had to repeat that run as well. It's not easy, but you've trained for it. You'll be fine.

Don't worry. As Laura says, it's as much a mental challenge as a physical one. Try a different route. Break it down into four short runs in your mind and start slowly and then go even slower!

You can do this!

Thanks guys, I tried again but still had to walk, my chest just feels like it's going to explode and I can not get my breath, but I only walk for a couple of mins then get going again, I'm not giving up though going to try again till I smash it!
