Nearly failed!

β€’10 Replies

I'm more than happy to get W8R2 behind me, it was the hardest yet! I'm not sure why, probably a combination of things, but it just didn't feel right. Because of that I fretted about pace, my gait, breathing, you name it, I tried to analyse what was wrong. By the time I'd decided it was going to be one of those days I'd only 6 minutes to do and by 'eck they were long, long minutes! Anyway, it's over now, hoping R3 is better. Also hope all the W8 runners had a better time of it. Almost there! πŸ‘

I think every run has the tough bits, mine is normally 1/4 to half way then it all sorts it's self out.

You are indeed getting there... brilliant.. When it is hard, it is a real achievement. keep it slow and keep it steady! :)

Some runs just are that way - but you did it! Next one will be fine I'm sure.

I found week eight tough. By comparison, the add on time in week nine felt easier. It is a smaller percentage step up. So take heart. You will be fine!

I felt the same about w8 r1- absolutely no idea why, it just seemed a right old slog- heavy legs, time dragging, especially for the first half. It got less grim in the second half of the run, but it just happens. Onwards, upwards :)

Great job - really well done on toughing it out and winning!!! It's so much mind games for me - I'm a chronic over thinker so start to really obsess when things aren't going great with the run and doubt everything but so far at least I've gritted my teeth and got there in the end. You are so close now - we can do this!!! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
