Just back from w4r1 and took a different route. I have been running on paths which are mostly out of sight because I felt v self-conscious. I've found though that I need a longer route with there being more running now. I decided to run into the village where I live and people actually saw me and I had to say hello.I'm slowly getting to the don't care attitude and just enjoying being out running x

Running in public
Hello!
I did exactly the same - running at the back of a recreation field next to an A-road at first, and then moving onto well-used tracks through neighbourhood and open land in week 4. It feels great, doesn't it? I actually posted a photo of my sweaty red face on facebook last week after doing my first 28 minutes.
Out and about, sweaty and proud.
If we r running, can't avoid being seen and like u, not too bothered where I go and who sees me nowadays
Good for you. Good to come out as a runner isn'-t it 😊
Haha I skulked about after dark, clad almost entirely in black but at some stage you just don't care anymore and the world has to cope as best as it can with sight of all us runners. Actually I think people register us less than we think. They're usually looking at their phones anyway!
