W5R3 done! Great feeling even with a slight twinge in the knee!

Did it this morning. Actually, I had to as went out last night and did the shopping I had promised myself only after w5r3 done. I am so in awe of this programme. Would never have dreamt five weeks ago that I could run for 20 mins. Any tips for a slight twing on the inside of my right knee?

Well done! Such a boost to get that one done. Not being a medical expert I can't comment specifically on the cause but I do have dodgy knees most likely down to tightness pretty much everywhere in my legs. I try to do lots of stretches like hamstring stretches which seem to help me. I also use therapy balls to roll out my tight thighs and calves.

There's some stretching options here which might help: nhs.uk/Livewell/c25k/Pages/...

If it continues it might be worth getting it checked out though.

Thanks for that. Will definitely give those a go. Like the sound of the therapy balls!

Not sure what shoes you have but that also could be another thing, if your shoes are not supportive enough you could also be putting pressure on your knees.

Oh and sorry the other name for therapy balls is torture balls, just warning you now! :)

Have been doing those stretches and they are definitely helping. Thank you!
