W4R3 done, but am I really going to be running for 20 minutes next week?!?

Had a good W4R3 today, but feeling a bit trepidatious about next week - 3 different runs culminating in 20 minutes non stop!

Can't really see how I'm going to manage that, but I trust in Laura!

I'd love to read your experiences of W2R3.... 😊

Yes trust Laura and the programme! You will be fine just take it steady. I was really worried too but lots of lovely folk on here reassured me and sure enough I did it and you will too! Best of luck.

Yes you can do it !

Bit of self belief and trust in Laura and you will be fine, promise xxx

Break it down into smaller chunks in your head if it helps. I had sleepless nights over this one before I did it. Most of us on here felt exactly the same as you . If you read some of the pinned posts on Week 5 it will help Im sure .

Good Luck, it is do-able . You can then post on here and tell us all about it ! :-) xxx

Yes! You absolutely can do it! You may feel you can't, but it is in you.

It's fine! Well actually fine probably isn't the best word, but it's certainly doable I did this one a week ago, just look upon it as filling in the gaps in the 8-5-8 run from the week before.

Everyone says this about w5r3 but the fact is you have actually been preparing for it for 4-5 weeks and you are ready even if you don't think you are, honestly! I found it difficult, don't get me wrong, but it's very do-able and the sense of accomplishment will carry you through the rest of the programme. Good luck!!

BTW I'm on week 7 now and if someone had told me 8 weeks ago that I'd be able to run 25 minutes without stopping I would not have believed them but I can!!

Hi Aiken, I think everybody feels the same about running 20 mins non-stop for the first time.  I slowed it down and broke it down into chunks which seemed to make it easier.  Good luck, you can do it Laura has spoken lol
