I know i am not following plan but I have just run 6k- I totally can't believe it!!
Not only have I dropped a dress size but I feel so much more postive about- everything.
I have psd I saw a man get knocked over by a bus 2 years ago I did CPR but he died 3 days later.
I have been a nurse for 13 years & this has affected me so badly. Since I've been running nightmares/flashbacks have reduced a LOT- I am thankful for everyone who posts just knowing your not the only one struggling helps so much!
I hope anyone else struggling can find the peace I have through running- just keep going it's not a case of being strong- you are strong & you have the ability to do anything you put your mind to βΊ
in the words of the beyonce- 'running from myself no more, I'm ready to face it all'

"No one said it would be so hard but no one told me it would feel this good"
hmm, that's a line I've heard before, but let's move swiftly on...
Well done you. That's a seriously impressive time/distance, esp for W7.
Running is great for finding inner space/peace etc. I have always envied but never quite understood people who meditate. I'd love to be able to do it, because clearly it brings a lot of inner harmony etc, but I am simply incapable of sitting and thinking of nothing and all that. When I'm running, however, once I get past the first ten minutes of gaspong and getinto my rhythm, I can just zone out completely. I don't alwys run because I am feeling crappy, but when i do, i always come back feeling better.
I found your post very moving. I am so glad you have been able to find peace of mind and solace in your running. Nursing must be so tough, and I can imagine it is hard to close your mind and move on from the life changing and trauma that you must encounter in doing your job.
Well done to you , and I wish you the very best of luck and continued success xxx
