So I decided that this year I would tackle the race for life in July. Tonight will be my first ever run or jog since school so a little nervous. I have downloaded the app and hope I will survive I have seen all the great support everyone gives each other here and I will definitely need it I will keep you all updated on progress later on.

Good luck! W1 isn't easy for us who used to be on the couch, but it gets better. As you progress through the weeks you get fitter, and there is no better feeling in the world than accomplishing things that you never thought you could do. Keep us posted, and don't give up even if you find today difficult! You can do this

Good luck you CAN do this. I'm only starting W3 tomorrow & yes it's been hard, & is hard especially as a complete non runner, ever, but I'm starting W3!!
The support, kind words & motivation from this forum is absolutely amazing. I have never known such a supportive bunch of people, they really do make you believe you can do it, they do me anyway & now I want to do it for them as well as myself.
I run at the slowest pace imaginable I'm sure, more of a fast walk with a jiggly bum haha so remember slow & steady at your own pace (I like snail lol)
