Thought you may like to see this picture of my daughter and I having completed the last run of week 6 on the morning of Mother's Day. I think both she and I are still slightly in shock that I have ever managed to run for 25 minutes. She is in on my little secret while my husband is away for three months which is to turn from a walker to a runner. He still doesn't know about what I'm doing, I was so thrilled at this achievement I almost broke and emailed him but resisted. Now looking forward to week 7, was a bit daunted by just long runs from now but the reply to my last post saying that it's about routine and stamina from now has helped shift me. I have found this network a huge support to my thinking which is 99% of achieving this programme I have really come to realise. Thanks everyone.

I was also daunted at the prospect of long runs 3x a week for weeks on end. But it turned out fine. Your husband will be pleasantly surprised next time he gets his running gear on to see you do the same! Would love to see his face😎

And lovely that your daughter's supporting you👍

Great photo!

What a wizard wheeze! Don't tell the old man. He doesn't need to know what you're up to. By the time he gets back you'll be Graduated and well on with C25k+ You don't need any diversions. Just keep your head down, focus on the task in hand, and go for it.

Have fun! It's good that your daughter is helping you. It's good to have some positive reinforcement and a fellow conspirator. Ha ha

That's a lovely photo :) So nice to see families running together. Is your husband a runner?

Thanks for your reply. Yes my husband is a really big runner, he has been ever since I've known him and I'm just beginning to get some understanding of his obsession!
