After a horrific first try of W5R3 with shin splints, i rested for 4 days and went out again today and completed it!!! The relief of doing it was incredible and i ran at a decent pace until the final minute and a bit after Laura said '2 minutes to go'.
So chuffed!

Well done you! I got shin splints early on too, found a mixture of wearing compression socks and sometimes shin supports made a difference, also someone wrapping my leg up tightly and leaving it there for about 5 minutes shifted it eventually! Flipping painful though, aren't they!
