Went on a gloriously muddy 7k trail yesterday. ☺Absolutely loved it but cannot believe how slippy and sticky and deep the mud was! Took my time (no other way in mud!) and worked my way determinedly around the course I had planned, which once again included a bit of 'hill work' as my challenge...even parts of the hills were muddy! 😮 It was pretty tough on the ol' legs and pace was most definitely not worth thinking about. Getting round and home in one piece without falling over was very satisfying however!
Phew! The joys of winter running eh?
Hope everyone else has enjoyed their runs this weekend and hope those on the ic are back out there soon☺.

Well done sandra another great muddy run!im afraid we didnt make it to the cross country race today but did our own mini version up to the local woods and back including George dog, didn't run all the way but want straight through the middle of some great muddy patchs! Hard going but fun too!😆
It was mainly his stout little tummy that was caked in mud !! enjoyed the off the lead forest bit the best! He got a bit spooked by a large garden with all kinds of chickens turkeys and funny fowl squawking!! He also did a speedy beach run thurs night, excited by the waves on the revetment splashing occasionally! 😆
