Race for Life muddy

I'm taking part in our local race for Life muddy tomorrow but I'm worried about the temperature as I will be starting off at 11:30. I don't think it would be practical to take a water bottle due to the mud/obstacles and not sure if they will have drink stations. I'm currently finishing my week 9 and graduating this week

If it is a 5K you don't need to worry about the the heat, drink plenty of water the day before you run and just take the run at a comfortable pace, good luck for your graduation run 🏃 😊. They should have drink stations if it's a 10K.

Phone the organiser and check the arrangements. In this kind of weather they definitely should have water available. If not, rush to your nearest sports shop and invest in a Camelbak. Have fun !

Can I ask a Race for Life-related question? Do they give you a time and post the results online? Or is it just for fun and not documented?

There is no time recorded as far as I'm aware

Well it was a very hot run today as my start time was 11:30. But I'm so pleased to have completed it. The mud and water was just what was needed to cool down in the heat. It would have been nice if there was a water station but water was given at the finish.
