I've just completed my 4th attempt of 1st week. Took all your advice on board, went much slower and took a route with less gradients. Managed to complete whole podcast so feeling much better mentally if not physically!! Thank you for the tips.

Well done! Keep at it
Practice makes perfect! And a good dose of gumption, too. Well done!
Great. You will build up your fitness gradually - no shame in repeating runs until your body adapts.
Well done and keep going - you won't regret it!
Wow, so excited for you. We have learnt the hard way just like you and it has worked for us,miso we want it to be easier for you 😀
Good on you. Take it easy and you will be right. Don't forget a day rest in between. And congratulations of finishing week 1. It may not seem much but believe me IT IS. 👏👏👏👏👏
Brilliant! The time it takes to get to your goal is really irrelevant when you think about it ... just persevere, repeat whatever you have to to gain confidence and keep the determination going and you'll get there. Just getting up and getting out is a major achievement as so many say they want to but don't. Well done
Pushing yourself to get out there is an achievement you should congratulate for every time, however many times over you repeat things! You've tried 4x as much as someone just completing week 1 and deserve that much congratulation really!
Keep going, slow but sure. It s bound to be hard if you are new to exercise but stick with it and go steady ☺
Yay, the good news is there are less runs in week 2! You can do this. Xx
Superb well done
It took me 12+ attempts to complete the Week 1 runs. And then never had to do another extra session, mostly running every other day.
It's all good work towards your fitness... when I stopped running in a run segment, I'd walk for the rest of the session so I built up a real attitude of keeping going rather than running again when 'recovered'. I had a clear picture of progression which kept my spirits up.
It is hard when something doesn't go to plan to go out there and try again. And then to keep at it till it works shows true grit. As the plan is divided up into "weeks", it can leave you thinking week 1 has to be done in a week. I think it is more stage 1 than week 1 and you move on when your body has built up the strength and stamina needed to complete, not because it is a new week. Mind you I did move on even if I felt I had scraped through by the skin of my teeth, it doesn't have to feel as if you breezed through before you can move on.
