Great stuff! Ooooh a run on Christmas Day, how lovely. I hope you'll be treating yourself to a Graduation treat. Maybe you'll get lucky and Santa will bring you something

Running is great isn't it as we can run off all the excesses. Some of us might need a marathon though!

Yes, I"ve made some strong hints to Santa!

What I like about C25K is how everyone is so supportive and enthusiastic when they hear you're doing it. I'm a late comer to this forum but I love how everyone is so into what everyone else is doing.

Right, off for my wk8r1 now to keep me a n schedule for that Chrimble Day big one!

Me too! I'll listen out for your celebrations! Although if there is a Parkrun in Exeter on 26th Dec, I might finish with that (am I allowed to do that? I guess the last podcast will be 30 mins straight running?) Not that I will be able to do 5km in 30 mins!

I think a lot of people do a parkrun as their 'graduation' run - so it's definitely allowed !! Let us know what the Exeter parkrun is like - that's my next closest one - I've run the one at Parke a few times and that is a struggle (hills, mud, lots of quick people !), so I keep getting tempted by something that sounds a bit flatter :-)

I think a Park Run sounds an excellent way to celebrate and I'm sure Laura would approve. I'll look out for your celebrations! Happy Christmas Jill x

Yeay!

That will deserve a special something maybe?

Well done... I graduated on Saturday and bought myself an early Christmas gift of a Garmin Forerunner!

It is the most amazing feeling when you actually complete! Let us know? :)

Good luck Ella, you have already done the hardest part in my opinion... With that graduation badge in sight and all those tough runs already under your belt its well within your capability to do those extra minutes. Enjoy the success of each run, Laura is going to be so proud of you!

You are a star.

Thanks Jan. By the way Ella is the dog. She's enjoying my newfound passion as well, so much more fun than a regular walk. Have a good Christmas and listen out for my whoohoos on Christmas Day. Jill x

Oops sorry Jill, I will be listening out for your whoops and maybe a woof from Ella.x

Hi everyone. Well I did it. Completed my W9R3 this morning. Ella and I had a great run - bit longer than usual because we were enjoying the run so much. We came home to the family standing outside in the rain in pyjamas to applaud me in. Vangelis playing and champagne on ice. Ella got extra treats for being such a great running companion and Santa brought me a Fitbit. What a great Christmas Day!
