Wk3 run1 Surprised and elated

I never thought I'd be able to run for the full 3 minutes! It almost seemed, dare I say it easy (was going so slowly, Laura's tip about being opp someone on the hedge and them not knowing you were running was v good - no one wld have mistaken me for a runner I can assure you!). Two weeks ago 60 seconds of running was hard. This programme is excellent.

Well done. Just ran for 5 mins this morning on week 4. 1.5 mins, 3 mins and now 5 mins. Agree this programme is truly excellent.

It's good stuff isn't it? Never believed I could run before I started it.

Keep going with the slow. It works well. :-)

Fantastic, malready running 3 times longer than you struggled with on week 1. The programme is awesome, bit by bit you can grow in confidence, find a pace that suits you and then increase the times. Keep us all posted, love hearing about different runs 😊

It certainly is. I'm now at 35 minutes, building up slowly but surely. I started at the end of August. Unbelievable the progress anyone can make. Well done and enjoy!!!

Me, too- 35 minutes today was totally fine (I graduated two weeks ago)- I could have carried on. The program is amazing because I can tell you that the first time Laura said I'd be running for 3 whole minutes I never thought I'd manage it!

I love Laura's 'hedge' tip & it has really forced me to 'slow' down & this helped me manage w4r1 today.... I can't quite believe I ran for 5 mins -it's a great feeling 💪
