Chesty coldy thing and how it affected running.

Decided to run again this morning. Definitely not my best performance ever, due to this silly chesty cough and cold thing I've got (improved by taking extra rest days this week). But, despite running slowly, I did it!

It actually felt like running this morning helped to clear some of the mucus and a hot shower afterwards was so well deserved! I definitely feel like flipping on the sofa now and not doing anything.

Week 6 day 2 completed!

Getting one of these cold/flu type bugs that are around at the moment can knock you out a bit for a week or two. Good on you for getting out there but try not to over do it otherwise it will take longer to get back to 100%
