Thank you.

I graduated in August and it was all going really well. Had worked my way up to 15k but now all gone a little wrong.

Feeling very sorry for myself as I love it.

Xxx

Grrrr. I feel your pain. Get down the gym and do some non-knee/foot pressure stuff to keep the gremlins at bay. Or maybe into the swimming pool.

Keep your chin up hun, it will right itself in time if you let yourself rest I'm sure.

Think we need a virtual meditation couch for every time one of us ends up on the IC to stop us going crazy. Ommmmmmmmm.

Thanks sweetie.

I am so fed up. Had a mega time at lego land but all the walking has really taken its toll on my knee and foot.

God, I feel like a right ol croc!!!

Jules xxx

Me and my other half spend far too much time these days comparing war wounds, you'd think we were training for the Olympics! Funny how something that can make you feel so great can also make you feel so old and decrepit.

See if you can rope the kids into giving you a foot massage as a "thank you mum"! (Got to be worth a try surely!)

How frustrating, rest up and get better, there seem to be so many wet and slippery leaves around at the moment perhaps it is a good time to get some swimming in?

Thanks Poppy.

Patience is the key here I think and I'm not very good at it.

Hope your knee is better soon.

Hopefully we will be pounding those streets soon

😘😘

Aw I feel your pain Jules. It's been a month now since I ran. It's such a good mood lifter and stress reliever to run isn't it? And I could have used it after a stressful week. Are you going to try and keep occupied in other ways while you recover? All the best m'dear :-) X

Hey Mim

I've joined a gym but not a conventional one. It's called gymophobics. I joined it to help strengthen my cord and muscles. There's no real cardio work as such.

I really just want to get out and burn some energy xx

For runners it's the worse thing and most of us have been/will go there sadly. Take it as an opportunity to work all those other muscles you can. Upper body, core, etc. It keeps you a little bit saner and your body will be stronger when you do get back to running. Don't give in to old bad habits and try to keep your fitness up in other ways. Can you cycle or swim (not breast stroke) or row?

Sending you lots of "get well soon" wishes.

Thank you IP.

Running is just easy as it fits in with a busy life. Swimming isn't easy to fit in and cycling hurts my knee.

I am doing core work at the Gym though so hopefully this will help.

That feeling when you're running and you just break into a smile is just the best.

xx

Oh Jules my lovely, I'm so sorry you're crook at the moment...it must be so frustrating for you. I'm still stuck at the 30 mins and 3.5/4 km and just can't seem to push any further...I think because life is just so busy at the moment only going once a week isn't helping...so renewed vigour is needed! I went Friday, and I shall go tomorrow evening and then Thursday.

Hubby came with me on Friday....!!!! And then went out on his own this am!! I nearly fainted!

He started on week 4...3/5/3/5mins and said he nearly died after the second run but it is cold out there and foggy...

I hope you are resting and the gym will help keep the rest of you happy(ish) Sending you lots of love sweetie xxxx
