Asthma and blisters sound like a challenge! Let us know how you get on when you are able to run again. Look after yourself.
The point of the course is to take it at your own pace and just work at getting there - if running is for life, then taking a bit longer to graduate is a drop in the ocean. Taking extra weeks if you need them is much better than damaging yourself, becoming frustrated and giving up. Getting advice on your asthma is excellent and I'm glad you have a plan in place that will make the running possible. Well done for sticking with it. Take care of those blisters and tell us how you get on. Good luck with the rest of your runs.
Vaseline is good for blisters. Just a smear! Don't pop the blisters, just leave them be.
Don't worry about what folks think! You're running for your benefit, not theirs!
C25k is a great programme! Just go steady with it, slow is best.
