Timing the training sessions

Hi, I've just completed week 3 and am about to start week 4 tomorrow. My problem is timing the jogging/walking. I'm currently using my 'phone as I'm not good at guessing how long I've been going. I'm not finding this method easy, but neither is using my watch. What do you guys recommend please?

Try using the podcasts. They feature Laura who will guide you through not just the timings of the run/walks, but also give you tips and encouragement.

Ok thanks; maybe that'll be the answer.

Or there is the App which guides you through the process.

Download the podcasts from iTunes. Whilst the music can be a bit repetitive, Laura is there to guide you and tell you when to run and when to walk. Can't imagine doing the plan without Laura to be honest...

I would not have even started it without Laura 😉

Laura is the best!

There is an app by runtastic that was mentioned on another forum recently. It's for timing intervals so should work for the first few weeks.

I tried timing with my watch before downloading the podcasts....no comparison. I use my ipod for every run. I made my own playlist, but having Laura tell you when to run or walk, and her encouragement really helps!

Thank you so much for your advice; I'll download the pod casts then.

Use the original Laura podcasts. You will love her and loathe her but she is the reason I completed c25k! Just trust her!
