ant stick

Does anyone else have a Garmin watch which connects with an ant stick? if so, do you find that sometimes garmin says the ant stick is not connected, even though it blatantly is. It seems to be random. I've e mailed Garmin about this but no response . Other USB devices work in both the ports of my apple laptop.

I use an Ant+ stick on a PC and on a Windows laptop. I did have a few recognition issues on the PC (and had the same problem with a digital camera). I uninstalled Garmin Express and the device drivers and reinstalled everything and haven't had any problems since.

thanks for the response. I have made sure the software's up to date, but maybe I need uninstall and reinstall, as you say. I'll try it . Shame Garmin haven't responded to my message ( about 3 weeks ago). I've had the same problem ever since I got the watch - sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. I feel a physical connection might be better, (call me old-fashioned if you like)

As Dunder suggests, I would be tempted to try and reinstall the drivers though I'm not familiar with using the antstick with an Apple device (I've used Windows and Android).

I've had similar problems too. I uninstalled then reinstalled but having problems again! Not happy about that.

Hopefully it will sort itself in the morning after my run.
