I am about to embark on week 6, and wondered it it is possible to not only listen to my own music during the podcast (and still get Laura's input of course), but also Mapmyrun at the same time? I tried Mapmyrun while listening to the podcast once but it didn't work......what am I doing wrong? Thanks all. (Oh, I have an iPhone.)

Hi! Not sure about mapmyrun, but I always listen to my own music If you click on the music icon it should bring up your playlists.
I'm not familiar with mapmyrun. However, I used to run the podcasts and Endomondo at the same time quite successfully. I would start the podcast and then start Endomondo recording at the end of the warmup walk.
Think Laura is inseparable from her rather naff music. :-). She worked with runkeeper / runtastic though.
I now use runtastic with my own music or a rockmyrun mix and just make sure I can see the time elapsed so I know when to start / stop / run / walk. At least at wk 6 it's only a few transitions to work out! miss Laura's "only a minute left" announcements though!
Hi, I usually use the C25k app that has the music with it as I find I can pace myself better to that than with my own music. I run mapmyrun at the same time as this app without any problems on my iPhone so maybe yours just had a bit of a blip when you tried so maybe give it another go?
