Exactly one year ago, I stepped out for the first time to do run 1 of week 1. One minute of running seemed like an age ! It took me 4 months to finish the 9 week programme but I got there in the end. Since then, I have done 7 parkruns, Race for Life and am doing the Dove House Colour run 5k. I have been for runs in all sorts of lovely places - Hyde Park, Kew Gardens in addition to my lovely E. Yorkshire village. It has done wonders for my confidence, particularly feeling stronger and fitter (it's also a great de stresser). For anyone wondering whether to give it a try - do it !!!! It is one of the best things I have ever done. I had a lovely runnerversary run tonight and there are lots of running adventures to come. Good luck all you C25kers and happy running ! xx
