Riddlesdown Parkrun too hot for me

Hello, glorious weather today, but the Parkrun was too hot and humid for me, 70deg f @ 9am, felt a distinct lack of energy, got round in a slow time, but hey I did it!

had to tackle a hill as well twice, (2 circuits) but at least that's in shaded woodland..

Well done - I imagine it has a lot of steep hills as well. I'm in Carshalton and do the Nonsuch one which has about 500 runners+ a week. Has just occurred to me the flat route may be why!!

Ancientrunner, I've recently graduated, so Riddlesdown parkrun is still challenging for me especially with the stony hill although shaded woodland. Nonsuch sounds good to me with the flat ground.

I think you would also like Bushey Park as I do with its flatness, and yes, can see why nearly 1000 runners weekly like it as well..being a Royal park just watch out for the deer, and lovely scenery with the big water fountain, worth a visit, if only once..😃
