With your support and my daughter's company, I have completed Week 2 Run 3!
Actually, it didn't feel too bad today. I was surprised my daughter walked halfway through the final run but managed to muster up more energy to be able to play on the swing, slides etc!
I tried to remember to breathe, not go too fast and just to focus on what Laura was saying...
Week 3 starts on Monday! (back to work - boo hoo! and 6am run boo hoo hoo!!!)
Congrats! I hope to do this run tonight if my leg feels well enough. Have you noticed an uptick in your own energy? I find that I bounce back more quickly from a run. 😊
At least a 6am run is before it gets too hot. It was really overwarm at 9am today when I did my Week 7 Run 3 and quite shattering, but I am still improving on my distance run in the time by aabout 10 feet each time. Well done with Week 2 - keep going, you're doing fine.
There is no question - you will get there. Just keep on doing what you're doing. I think as well it is a good form of moving meditation when your days are full, providing you with "you time" and head space before a busy day.
Right behind you Lucy.am hoping to do that same run tomorrow with hubby.i do keep telling him I will be slow but we are only doing laps of the park so he can zoom ahead if he wants to!Then off on holiday next week so will probably start week 3 the week after unless I pluck up the courage to do week 3 in the hotel gym on the treadmill.😁 eek can't imagine me fitting in with all those fit types!
If I was going on holiday, I would do week 3 at the hotel as I think I would not carry the c25K if I had a break! Who cares about other people now after doing so well so far! Go for it!!
